Bonsai stores task and list data on your devices and syncs it through your private Apple iCloud database. No separate Bonsai sign-up is required. Support messages and visits to this website have separate data practices described below.
Who operates Bonsai Todo
BEBE BIO Inc. publishes and operates Bonsai Todo and is responsible for this policy. You can reach us at support@bonsaitodo.com.
What the app stores
Task and list data, including organization fields and task creation allowance records, is stored on your device and uses Apple's CloudKit to sync through your private iCloud database. Some app preferences are stored locally on each device.
App data and sync
Task and list data is transmitted to Apple for private iCloud sync. The native app does not send that data to a separate BEBE BIO task-storage service. It does not include an advertising or analytics SDK.
Support messages
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. Support messages can include device information, screenshots, or task text. Share only the information needed to explain the issue.
We use support correspondence only to respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve your requests, prevent abuse or address security issues when necessary, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use support correspondence for marketing.
We delete support emails and attachments within 12 months after a request is resolved. We may retain information reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations or handle an ongoing dispute, and keep it only as long as necessary for that purpose.
This support-use and retention policy takes effect on October 13, 2026.
Website analytics
This website is hosted by Cloudflare and includes Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare describes its analytics beacon as collecting page performance metrics. Cloudflare hosting may also process technical information about website requests to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation for its description of that service.
BEBE BIO Inc. does not use Cloudflare analytics information and does not link website activity to data from the native Bonsai app.
Crash reports
We review crash reports made available by Apple to investigate and fix app crashes. The Apple reports we use are limited to crash reports. These reports can contain technical details about a device, app version, and crash. Availability depends on Apple's sharing settings and service terms. Apple's handling of this information is described in its privacy documentation.
Payments
Apple handles payment for Unlock Bonsai Pro. Bonsai uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information on your device to enable and restore Pro access. The app does not ask for your payment-card or bank details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
Bonsai Todo is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
For questions about information you send to support, contact support@bonsaitodo.com. Your app data may exist on several devices, in your private iCloud database, and in backup files you export. Removing one copy does not establish that all copies have been removed.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and change the date above.
